Salvation Army and GM: My Holiday Wish Card
General Motors, The Salvation Army and Linda Solomon, a nationally recognized and award-winning photojournalist, partnered to help underprivileged children in a project called "Pictures of Hope. Linda, who has dedicated her career to bringing awareness to children's causes and charities, focused her attention on Salvation Army shelter's in 2005 with a groundbreaking photography project in Detroit called "My Holiday Wish." The project, which expanded to Raleigh, NC and Orlando, FL in 2006, gained national acclaim from media and celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Katie Couric, People Magazine and USA Today. Most importantly, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of these cards will benefit the local Salvation Army programs that participated in this project. So, whether you choose to send the "Pictures of Hope" greeting cards to friends and family or you opt to keep them for your personal enjoyment, they are sure to bring a smile to your face and joy to your heart.
