Volvo's "Green" Racing S60 Wins Silver
Mantorp, Sweden - Robert Dahlgren, Driver, Polestar Volvo Original Racing; Derek Crabb, Director of Motorsport, Volvo Car Corporation Despite heavy rain during the 2007 final of the Sweden Touring Car Championship (STCC), Robert Dahlgren, driver of Volvo's E85-powered S60, secures silver with a second-place victory. He is the only driver to drive a bioethanol-powered racing car throughout the season. Continuing its green initiatives, Volvo Cars has announced a three-year development program for an E85-fueled C30, which will replace the S60 racing car next season.
