World Food Program: Colin Farrel
The Irish film actor, Colin Farrell, has added his famous voice to the growing roster of Hollywood stars helping the United Nations World Food Programme raise awareness and concern about global hunger. Farrell readily agreed to appear in the latest of WFP's 30 second Public Service Announcements (PSAs), which have been shown over the past year thanks to the generosity of major broadcasters. On the heels of the tsunami crisis, he draws attention to the plight of the hundreds of millions of people who suffer hunger on a daily basis - often far from the media spotlight.
