National Institute on Drug Abuse: Jack and Jill
NIDA's mission is to lead the Nation in bringing the power of science to bear on drug abuse and addiction. Recent scientific advances have revolutionized our understanding of drug abuse and addiction. The majority of these advances, which have dramatic implications for how to best prevent and treat addiction, have been supported by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). "Jack & Jill" was the first installment in our "Keep Your Body Healthy" campaign. Adolescents and other young adults who use drugs and alcohol often take risks that endanger their health and the health of others. One of the most harmful risks is that of engaging in risky sexual activities. These spots focus on the connection between drug abuse and contracting HIV/AIDS...
