Academy for Educational Development: A New Chicken PSA
As concerns over a bird flu pandemic increase in Southeast Asia, efforts are underway to educate residents via an animated cartoon character: Super Chicken'. In new PSAs developed by the Academy for Educational Development (AED) with USAID funding, an animated chicken superhero shows farmers low-cost practices they can adopt to keep flocks and families healthy. The character was initially introduced in mid-2006 and the PSAs are being aired in Laos and Cambodia.
