National Fatherhood Initiative: Dance
The National Fatherhood Initiative was created in 1994 to counter the growing problem of fatherlessness by stimulating a broad-based social movement to restore responsible fatherhood as a national priority. NFI encourages and supports family and father-friendly policies, develops national public education campaigns to highlight the importance of fathers in the lives of their children, provides motivation for national and local coalition-building, and provides information to individual men to help them be better fathers. National Fatherhood Initiative has a series of TV public service announcements promoting the importance of involved fatherhood. The "Moments" series is National Fatherhood Initiative's latest campaign to bring the message of involved, responsible, and committed fatherhood to the public. A father "lets loose" in a living room dance routine in this spot, called "Dance."
