Tree Canada Foundation: Grow
The Tree Canada Foundation is a not-for-profit, charitable organization established in 1992. Under the direction of a 13-member volunteer Board of Directors, the Foundation provides education, technical assistance, resources and financial support through working partnerships to encourage Canadians to plant and care for trees in an effort to help reduce the harmful effects of carbon dioxide emissions. We will work with any group to promote the educational value of tree planting and maintenance, tree inventory projects, as well as the planning and execution of, "the simple act of planting a tree". The Tree Canada Foundation promotes the planting and maintenance of trees - the reality that putting the tree in the ground is only a small part of the battle to keep trees growing!
