Boomers Ambientalistas
Un nuevo estudio de AARP revel que un 70 por ciento de los 'Boomers' (las personas nacidas entre 1946 y 1964) siente la responsabilidad de hacer del mundo un lugar seguro para sus hijos y nietos. La encuesta entre 30 mil 'Baby Boomers' -y que incluy tambi n a consumidores nacidos antes del 1946, examina c mo estas generaciones reaccionan ante los mensajes conservacionistas. Seg n el estudio, m s de la mitad de los "Boomers" se consideran ambientalistas, eligen productos ambientalmente seguros y a la hora de seleccionar los productos que consumen, la mayor a prefiere productos locales y elije compa as socialmente responsables. AARP descubri que los "Boomers" buscan informaci n antes de consumir un producto, y generalmente, exigen calidad en los servicios y productos que consumen, en una proporci n dos veces mayor que el consumidor en general.
