National Institute on Drug Abuse: Game Plan Steroids
NIDA's mission is to lead the Nation in bringing the power of science to bear on drug abuse and addiction. Recent scientific advances have revolutionized our understanding of drug abuse and addiction. The majority of these advances, which have dramatic implications for how to best prevent and treat addiction, have been supported by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). "Game Plan" is the latest installment in our "Keep Your Body Healthy" campaign. With an increase in use in anabolic steroids among America's youth, "Game Plan" seeks to encourage young men and women to work with what nature has provided and not "cheat" by using steroids and thereby exposing themselves to the negative side-effects associated with these drugs.
