UNICEF: Mia Farrow Interview
On Monday, Jan. 22, 2007, musicians and singers from more than 45 ensembles worldwide performed a Requiem for Darfur at New York City's Carnegie Hall. Mia Farrow will host the event. She is also a tireless advocate for awareness of the ongoing conflict in the Darfur region of western Sudan, and spoke to UNICEF about the concert and her mission.

Award-winning actress, Mia Farrow, has devoted much time to humanitarian causes, particularly those supporting children. UNICEF Executive Director Carol Bellamy announced Farrow's appointment as a Goodwill Ambassador on 27 September 2000, during the first Global Polio Partners Summit at the United Nations (UN) in New York.
